The Auris Glockenspiel has tones made of a brass alloy and a wooden body of Maple Wood. The tone bars are coated with a fine layer of beeswax and nothing else.The beeswax provide a mild natural gloss of the brass

* We also stock the 7 tone block Auris glockenspiel. We are often asked what the difference is between the two. They are both beautiful instruments and play celestial sounds, however there is more work in the making of the curved ones which result a longer and more resonant tone than the block ones.
