Time to plant some fun in the garden!  This is the beginning and the end and the beginning again - seed, soil and water. 

You cant beat learning the rhythm of the seasons than through direct observation.  Tomato planting time, corn, when to grow herbs.  Harvest time.  It completes itself and the whole time children create visceral muscle memories - and memories of 'doing with' mum and dad!
