Songbird Whistle Necklaces - Spoon Billed Sandpiper
The Spoon-Billed Sandpiper is named for its distinct bill which it moves in a sideways motion to find insects in grassy coastal areas. It is a critically endangered wader bird which breeds in Russia and migrates to the warmer climes of South-East Asia for wintering.
Each Songbird whistle necklace is skilfully hand-shaped from clay, fired, then hand-painted by our team of creative artisans in Northern Thailand. Because of their handmade nature no two birds are the same, making them even more unique and characterful.
