Hold the braided cord. Take a step. Mary the lamb pads along behind on hand-finished wooden wheels, almost silent on the kitchen tiles.

Soft sherpa plush body, embroidered sleepy eyes, a pink-stitched nose, all set on a smooth natural wooden base. Cotton, wood, a tiny bit of pink thread, nothing else.

A first-birthday gift for new walkers from twelve months. The kind of friend who ends up on the bed long after the rolling has stopped.
