EASY HOME CRAFTS: Paper Mache Balloons

Paper Mache is so much messy fun!

What you need:

Torn up strips of newspaper Balloon PVA glue (watered down)

What to do:

Dip the newspaper pieces in the glue mixture and cover the balloon thoroughly. You will need at least three layers of newspaper. The last layer we made with cut up picture books. You could also wait and paint the balloon when it’s dry. For the basket we folded up a piece of paper to form a box. Make sure there are small triangles left on the edge of the box to tuck in and either stick or staple. Measure out four pieces of string and glue to the corners of the box and the balloon.
