Marta Casals Juanola is an illustrator based in Barcelona. She studied fine arts and graphic design at the University of Barcelona. Nowadays she works as a freelance illustrator.

Her watercolours are inspired mainly by nature and she enjoys creating magical and imaginary worlds. Watercolour is her favourite medium because she loves its transparency and can experiment with colour spots and layers of liquid paint.
