Toys to Take Care of

The founders of Debresk began making their beautiful wooden toys in 1987 on a biodynamic farm in Sweden. Their task was to create toys that would support the growing child. Debresk believe that children develop a relationship to the world in the way they interact and care for a toy. They want children to play with a toy made from living materials so that they grow up in a world that they want to take care of. Debresk’s intentions are to create toys that stimulate fantasy and creativity. They wish to create balance and harmony between the different senses and the intellect of the growing child. The quality of the toys, the smooth, plain wood finish of the vehicles speak for themselves.
